Make-up & Skin Care

SIMPLE MAKE-UP APPLICATION.
Going to lunch with the ladies or attending a friend’s birthday party or is it a baby shower, whatever it is that you have to attend you dont need to worry about the hussle of a long and complicated make-up application.
Lets aim for a simple makeup appliation process.
Here’s how.…
- Primer
On a cleansed and moisturised face. Apply primer to the entire face rub in using your hands and allow to settle for a few seconds. A good primer prolongs the make wear ensuring longer lasting makeup. - Foundation
Choose a foundation that best matches you skin. Place small dots of foundation all over the face then slowly and gently work the product in. Do not rub the foundation simply pat into place using either a brush or a makeup sponge do this until the product is evenly distributed and smooth. - Highlight
The concealer should be a shade or two lighter than the foundation this is so that it is clearly visible compared to the foundation. Apply to the forehead, undereyes and the chin allow to sit for a while depending on how quickly the concealer dries. Blend the areas until even and smooth. - Contour
The contour should be a few shades darker than the foundation. Place the contour below the ckeekbone on the side of the jaw towards the ears. Blend upwards to create structure going up and not down. - Setting Powder
Apply translucent loose powder to the the highlighted portions of face then apply a coloured pressed powder to the remainder of the face, this is done to set the make in place. - Eyebrows : Using an eyebrow pencil ,gently outline the shape of the brow following the nautral shape of the brows. Fill in the brows creating hair like strokes till they are well defined. Apply concealer to the lower and upper brow to clean up the shape. Again this should be done slowly to ensure you are able to get the brows to look similar.
- Eyeshadow: Using a single eyeshadow colour (eg dark brow). Apply the shadow on eyes, lightly blend on the inner eye then increase the pressure of blending towards the outer corner of the eye creating depth with the single colour.
8.Eyeliner: Apply balck eyeliner to the bottom and top eye line to create interest. - Mascara : Apply mascara to the top and bottom lashes to darken and elongate them.
- Blush
Apply a cream blush or a powder blush to the apple of your ckeeks then blend upwards. Remember start with a small amount to avoid over applying. - Setting Spray
Close your eyes the spray some setting spray this is done to hold the make up in place for the whole day.
A Relaxing Body Bath
-

Taking a bath does oes not need be a standard routine for becoming clean. It can form part of an intentional unwinding practice.
The calming and relaxing bath need not be taken everyday in fact it’s better when you set out a specified day for it. It can be on a Saturday or maybe Sunday late in the afternoon, the point here is to find a day where you have a little extra time to indulge.
The Products
Use products that are rich in moisturising properties, gentle and soothing on the skin. The Products that I use are:
*The Oh So Heavenly Classic Care (Moisture Burst Body Wash)
And the Oh So Heavenly Classic Care Creamy Caress Body Cream

Procedure : Have your gown, soft slippers and head wrap ready to go.
- Run the bath, pour in the desired bath salts and light your scented candle then get in.
- Apply a desired face mask.
- Allow yourself mentally unwind as you sit,you can read a book, play some calming music or eat your favorite chocolate
- Then begin to gently cleanse the body thoroughly and follow up with a rich moisturising body lotion.
- Add body oils and use a base to massage the body gently as you go.
Remember the point of this bath is to clear the mind and decompress the body so intentionally focus on clearing the mind, relaxing body and destressing.
