The glam space is any place you’ve identify and you use to do your glam, your make-up, nails or hair. It’s the place where you glam….
Creating the dreamy space, what should it have for it for function well for you…
All this depends on what you will be using it for but let us not get lost on the deeper details. The general glam space format remains the same generally.
Lets run over the few items you will need to pull your glam dreamy space together…
The Glam Table
Firstly, you will need a glam table. The glam table will be used for your set-ups. The size of the table is not a big fuss, use whichever size you feel provides enough surface area and whichever size is appropriate for your the space altogether.
Your Chair
All your need in regard to a chair is a good piece of furniture. The colour, the design, the shape is all your preference. Pick a cute chair that matches your style and toss a throw pillow on it, then boom there you have it.
Carpet/Rug
The rug/carpet is a decorative piece there are many different kinds, colourful ones and neutral ones. The idea with the carpet is to give the space some life. Pick one that reflects your personality and can add some character to your space.
Wall – Art
Wall art is not a make or make item but it does that something extra when added.
It really does add interest and makes a difference to an otherwise quiet space. Find one or two pieces that make a statement and wake up your glam space.
Storage
Do you know that situation where everything is everywhere and you don’t know where to find anything, yeah that situation.
It’s a straight sign that you need some proper storage and don’t worry I’m guilty also, having proper storage is necessary to save you from the headaches of not knowing where your stuff is.
Have some portable pull out drawers or some storage boxes, whatever you can use to things together.
When your storage is paired we’ll, in terms shapes and colour it makes your glam space look even more glam.
The Mirror
The size of the mirror will again depend on what you will be using it for
For makeup we can use a smaller hand held mirror for close ups and a larger face and shoulder mirror for a wider lool.
For outfits we would need a fall length mirror to enable us to check that outfit.
Nice Towels
Nice towels just look nice and make everything else look good too.
These are used to lay on the table for doing makeup or nails and can be use on hair day. They can be used in varying colours and textures and add that glam feeling.
Lighting
Lastly, you need that additional light. Having the one room light just does not do it for glam. You’ve seen it and I have too when you’re doing your makeup and it’s dim so you end up applying too much or too little product because you are not well lit and can not see well. Additional lighting is sometimes needed to help pull glam together you can an additional light through something as simple as a ring light.
When setting up your glam space it’s about creating that feeling glam for the glamup sessions.
5 STEP TO ACRYLIC NAILS
STEP 1 Prep The Natural Nails
- File and Trim the Nails
- Push the Cuticles Back
- Dehydrate and apply primer
STEP 2: Apply The Nail Extensions
- Choose the correct nail extension size for each nail
- Glue the sized nail extensions
- If nail extensions are slightly bigger than the nail bed trim them slightly on the sides to fit evenly side to side.
- Cut the extensions to the Desired Length.
STEP 3: Apply Acrylic
- Choose the Desired Acrylic Powders colours and set aside.
- Pour the Acrylic Liquid in glass container
- Apply the Acrylic individually nail by nail (try and maintain an even application throughout this will reduce the time required for filing at the end)
STEP 4 :File The Acrylic Nails
- File the surface of nails until you obtain smooth surface.
- File Gently the Cuticles Area or use a e-file to get a more accurate file.
STEP 5 :Nail Art
- Decorate the Nails as desired (Hand drawing , use stickers , gemstones, nail polish for designs, etc )
